Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines have signed a strategic business partnership agreement.
With approval from the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore and the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, the two airlines will work to improve connectivity and convenience for passengers traveling between Singapore and Malaysia.
The partnership includes the introduction of revenue-sharing flights, joint fare products, coordinated flight schedules, and joint development of corporate travel arrangements in both markets.
Since October 2019, the two airlines have been progressively expanding their codeshare operations. From February 2024, members of each airline’s mileage program have been able to earn miles on flights operated by the partner airline.
