Turkish Airlines and Southwest Airlines Sign Transatlantic Partnership
Lufthansa City Airlines has opened a new hub in Frankfurt, Germany.
The first route is to Manchester. In February, the airline will launch services to Berlin and Valencia, and in March it will introduce a second aircraft to operate flights to Düsseldorf and Málaga. By September, it plans to base seven Airbus A321neo aircraft there, and is also planning summer services to destinations such as London/Heathrow, Stockholm, Bilbao, Hamburg, Helsinki, Ibiza, Marseille, and Bucharest.
The airline continues to recruit flight and cabin crew, and has already hired around 60 staff. Over the next few months, it plans to hire 80 flight crew members and 200 cabin crew members.
