Nippon Travel Agency has begun selling tour packages for the Grand Sumo Paris Tournament.
The Grand Sumo Paris Tournament will be held on June 13 and 14 at Accor Arena in Paris, France. It will be the first time in 30 years since 1995 that the event is held there, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Japan Sumo Association and other milestones.
The tour is a 6-day package departing from Tokyo/Haneda, with the departure date set for June 11. It includes tickets for two days of viewing. On the second day, a backstage tour of the venue will be conducted, and participants will receive a fan book pamphlet. The minimum number of participants required to operate the tour is 8, and a tour conductor will accompany the group. The tour price starts from 599,000 yen, excluding fuel surcharges.
