AirAsia X will resume operations on its Kuala Lumpur–Busan route from June 17.
The airline will operate four round-trip flights per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The flight time is 6 hours 25 minutes from Kuala Lumpur and 6 hours 30 minutes from Busan.
With this, AirAsia’s network from Malaysia will expand to 21 cities, and the number of destinations in South Korea will increase to two, including Seoul/Incheon. The airline states that it will continue to expand its business in the growing North Asia market.
