
ZIPAIR Tokyo Begins Operating Boeing 787-8 with Riblet-Shaped Coating
EgyptAir has taken delivery of its first Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
This is the first of 16 aircraft on order. The cabin is configured in two classes, with a total of 340 seats: 30 business class suites with direct aisle access at every seat, and 310 economy class seats.
This marks the first introduction of this aircraft type by an airline in North Africa. It will enable the launch of non-stop flights from Cairo to major cities on the U.S. West Coast, North Asia, and other destinations.
EgyptAir currently operates a total of 26 Airbus aircraft, including 8 Airbus A320neo, 7 Airbus A321neo, and 11 Airbus A330 Family aircraft, among them 5 Airbus A330-200P2F.
