APA Group will open “APA Hotel Koriyama-Ekimae” in November 2027.
The new property will be adjacent to the existing APA Hotel Koriyama-Ekimae, which is currently in operation and was opened under the APA brand after acquiring the former Koriyama Minami Hotel on February 6, 2008. It reopened after renovations in December 2022, adding 13 more rooms. The existing building will be renamed APA Hotel Koriyama-Ekimae-Minami. With these two hotels at Koriyama Station, the total will expand to 338 guest rooms.
The new hotel will have 249 guest rooms. All rooms will be equipped with large LCD televisions of 50 inches or more, ultra-fine bubble shower heads, original unit baths, and universal power outlets. The property will also feature “S-S Connect Twin Rooms,” where two adjacent single rooms can be connected and used together. A large public bath will be installed inside the hotel to help raise the average room rate. Architectural design will be handled by Machi Sekkei, construction by Rinkai Nissan Construction, and design supervision by Tsujimoto Design Office.
The hotel is approximately a 2-minute walk from the west exit of JR Koriyama Station, and is intended to serve both business and leisure travelers.
