
Air China Suspends and Reduces Flights on Japan–China Routes for Summer Schedule
South Korean low-cost carrier Jin Air will increase the number of flights on its Shimojishima–Seoul/Incheon route from March 29.
It currently operates 5 round-trip flights per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and will increase this to 1 round trip per day. The route will be operated with Boeing 737-8 or Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight time is 2 hours 30 minutes from Shimojishima to Seoul/Incheon, and 2 hours 35 minutes from Seoul/Incheon to Shimojishima.
Jin Air launched this route in May 2024, beginning service to Shimojishima Airport in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. On April 2, it will launch a Shimojishima–Busan route, bringing the number of routes it operates to Shimojishima to two.
