
ZIPAIR Tokyo Offers Discount Benefits to Benefit Station Members
All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Isuzu Motors have entered into a partnership and introduced the battery electric vehicle (BEV) “Elf EV” as card trucks (baggage vehicles) starting February 18.
By utilizing subsidies from the Association for the Promotion of Advanced Eco-Vehicles and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, they have deployed a total of three units at Haneda Airport, which requires 24-hour operation, and at New Chitose Airport, located in a cold and snowy region of Japan, to verify the operational practicality and other aspects of EV trucks.
The ANA Group has so far introduced PHEV-type aircraft towing tractors, EV-type towing tractors, and belt loaders, and has been conducting demonstrations of next-generation biofuels for ground support equipment (GSE) used in aircraft ground operations.
