JR East to Revise JRE POINT Redemption for Shinkansen e-Tickets from March 14
JR Kyushu will launch the “Kyushu Great Adventure Ticket,” which allows unlimited rides on all JR Kyushu lines for two consecutive days.
There will be two types of passes: the “All Kyushu Version” and the “Northern Kyushu Version.” The All Kyushu Version covers all JR Kyushu lines, including the Kyushu Shinkansen and the Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen. The Northern Kyushu Version covers all JR Kyushu lines north of the Hōhi Main Line, as well as the section of the Kagoshima Main Line between Kumamoto and Uto stations, and the section of the Misumi Line between Uto and Misumi stations. With either pass, passengers can freely get on and off limited express, local, and rapid trains in ordinary car non-reserved seats, as well as the Hitahikosan Line BRT.
The All Kyushu Version is priced at 20,000 yen for adults and 3,000 yen for children, while the Northern Kyushu Version is 10,000 yen for adults and 2,000 yen for children. Children’s passes are only valid when purchased together with an adult pass and used on the same itinerary.
The valid travel period is from April 10 to 19 (the first day of use must be no later than April 18). Sales begin on March 10, and the pass must be purchased no later than the day before the first day of use.
