
ZIPAIR Tokyo to Suspend Tokyo/Narita–Manila Route in March 2026
Starlux Airlines will increase the number of charter flights on its Kumamoto–Taichung route in Japan and Taiwan for a limited period.
This route was launched on March 31 and operates three round trips per week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. From May 1 to 31, additional flights will be operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and from July 11 to August 19, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, for a maximum of six round trips per week.
The airline will operate Airbus A321neo aircraft on the route. The flight time is 2 hours 30 minutes from Kumamoto to Taichung and 2 hours 15 minutes from Taichung to Kumamoto. Tickets will also be sold to individual travelers.
Starlux Airlines currently operates one round trip per day between Kumamoto and Taipei/Taoyuan. Including the Taichung service in the summer schedule, the airline will operate up to 13 round trips per week to Kumamoto.
