Qatar Airways has decided to temporarily suspend flights to and from Doha following the closure of Qatari airspace.
Flights will resume as soon as the airspace closure is lifted. The airline notes that delays and other disruptions may still occur even after operations restart.
Additional staff will be deployed at Hamad International Airport and other major airports to assist affected passengers.
Between Japan and Doha, Qatar Airways operates flights to and from Tokyo/Narita and Osaka/Kansai, while Japan Airlines (JAL) operates flights to and from Tokyo/Haneda. JAL has decided to cancel tonight’s flight departing from Tokyo/Haneda and its return flight.
