Japan Hotel REIT to Acquire Hyatt Regency Tokyo and Add Extended-Stay Rooms
Kamenoi Hotel Atami Annex in Atami, Japan, will reopen after renovations on March 30.
With “Atami Window” as its design theme, the hotel has renewed the interior of the entrance, lobby, and guest rooms, and introduced two self check-in machines at the front desk.
The restaurant will offer a total of 110 seats. For dinner, it will serve a Japanese kaiseki course using seasonal ingredients, and for breakfast, about 60 kinds of Japanese and Western dishes in buffet style. In addition, the live-cooking corner will serve sakura shrimp fritters, herb-seasoned fried horse mackerel, grilled fish, skewers, and more.
Guest rooms have been refurbished mainly by converting twin rooms into triple-use rooms, and a new “Deluxe Fourth” room type, accommodating up to 5 guests, has been created. Japanese-style and Japanese-Western rooms have undergone beautification work, and a new 77-square-meter guest room with an open-air bath has been added. Some rooms will also feature balconies.
