Japan Airlines (JAL) will implement special handling of air tickets due to the deterioration of the situation in the Middle East.
The policy applies to itineraries including flights to or from the Middle East, with tickets issued by February 28 for travel through March 16.
Regardless of whether cancellations or schedule changes occur, reservation changes and refunds for travel through March 31 will be accepted without handling fees. If no cancellations or schedule changes have occurred, reservation changes before the start of the itinerary will not be covered by this special handling and will instead be treated in accordance with the applicable fare rules.
JAL has decided to cancel its Tokyo/Haneda–Doha route from February 28 through March 7 (departing locally, arriving the following day).
