Emirates Suspends Dubai Flights Until 3 p.m. March 1 After Damage at Dubai International Airport
Emirates has suspended flights to and from Dubai until March 4 (5:00 a.m. on March 5 Japan time).
On March 3 and 4, the airline will operate flights to support passengers returning home, as well as cargo flights, giving priority on these services to those who already hold reservations. Emirates is asking passengers not to go to the airport if they have not received direct contact from the airline and do not have a confirmed reservation on these flights.
According to the websites of Dubai International Airport and Emirates, a total of 22 repatriation flights are expected to operate today, March 4. None of these flights are bound for Japan.
Passengers booked on canceled flights are being offered rebooking onto alternative flights up to March 20 or a refund.
