
Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Issues Warning Following US–Israel Attacks on Iran
Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi revealed that, as of March 2, a total of 7,700 Japanese nationals were staying in countries surrounding Iran.
Approximately 5,500 are in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), about 720 in Saudi Arabia, about 710 in Qatar, about 210 in Jordan, about 190 in Bahrain, about 160 in Kuwait, about 120 in Iraq, about 90 in Oman, and about 60 in Lebanon.
Japanese diplomatic missions abroad are sending out regular communications three times a day, and important information is immediately distributed via consular e-mail.
