
Emirates Operates Limited Special Flights from Dubai to the Middle East and Europe on March 3
Qatar Airways is continuing to suspend its flights following the closure of Qatari airspace.
Information on the resumption of operations is scheduled to be announced again at 9:00 a.m. local time on March 7.
The airline began operating relief flights from Muscat and Riyadh on March 5. The flights announced for that day were from Muscat to London/Heathrow, Berlin, Copenhagen, Madrid, Rome, and Amsterdam, and from Riyadh to Frankfurt. Work is underway to operate additional flights.
For passengers currently stranded in Doha, Qatar Airways representatives at designated hotels are answering questions about relief flights and travel arrangements.
In light of the difficulty in securing means of departure and the resulting stranded situation in Middle Eastern countries including Qatar, Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs will operate relief flights from Muscat and Riyadh on March 8.
