1 Hotels Opens 1 Hotel Tokyo in Akasaka World Gate
1 Hotels opened “1 Hotel Tokyo” on March 5.
Located in Tokyo World Gate Akasaka, the property occupies floors 38 to 43 as well as the first basement floor and ground floor of the Akasaka Trust Tower. The hotel offers a total of 211 guest rooms, including 24 suites such as three penthouses and five universal rooms. Guest rooms feature artwork made with preserved moss and reclaimed pallets, interiors crafted by local artisans, and abundant plants.
The interior design was created by the architecture and design studio “CRÈME.” Throughout the property, materials are highlighted in their natural state, with design details such as sand-textured wallpaper and hand-applied plaster finishes. Panels made with moss and reclaimed wood, along with potted plants, create spaces that evoke a strong connection with nature. The spa is fully equipped with private rooms and couple suites, offering treatments that fuse Japanese and Western traditions. The fitness area is open 24 hours a day and features Technogym equipment as well as a variety of classes. An indoor pool, an original merchandise shop, and a multipurpose space of approximately 500 square meters are also available.
The hotel features the signature restaurant “NiNi,” inspired by Mediterranean cuisine; the bar “Spotted Stone,” which focuses on Japanese craft gin; and “Neighbors Café,” a café offering plant-forward menus along with coffee and tea prepared by skilled baristas.
