Dubai Airports Partially Resume Limited Flights from Evening of March 2
Korean Air has reopened its lounge at the Tom Bradley International Terminal of Los Angeles International Airport on March 6.
The airline commissioned architecture and design firm LTW Designworks Studio, investing about 65 billion Korean won and completing the project after one year and ten months of construction. This is the first renovation of an overseas lounge since the announcement of its integration with Asiana Airlines.
The Miler Club and Prestige Lounge are located on the 5th floor, and the First Class Lounge is located on the 6th floor. The total area is 1,675 square meters, which is 27% larger than before. It is now the largest overseas lounge directly operated by Korean Air.
The design harmonizes warm wood materials with premium stone finishes to express a “Modern Korean Luxury” style, where the beauty of East and West coexist. Artworks that embody Korean aesthetics are also on display, including Korean celadon-style ceramics known as “Buncheong ware” and the graceful curves of the traditional “Moon Jar.”
In the First Class Lounge, two private rooms have been created, and a personalized dining service offering à la carte dishes has been introduced.
The Miler Club and Prestige Lounge feature a business zone, a family zone where families can relax together, shower rooms, and an open-kitchen-style live station. Beverages unique to Los Angeles are served, including local craft beer and a signature blend coffee. The Miler Club also offers special menu items.
