Aero K will operate charter flights on the Fukushima–Cheongju route in July and October.
There will be two round trips: departing Fukushima on July 17 and October 9, and departing Cheongju on July 20 and October 12. The flight time is 2 hours 5 minutes from Fukushima and 1 hour 55 minutes from Cheongju.
Each itinerary is for 4 days and 3 nights, and tour packages will be arranged that visit Japanese travelers to Seoul and Busan in South Korea. Standalone air tickets can also be purchased. The tours will be sold by HIS (H.I.S.), and travel briefing sessions will be held in Koriyama and Fukushima on March 28. Early-bird discounts will be available.
This marks the first operation of nonstop flights connecting Fukushima and South Korea in 9 years, created to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Fukushima Prefecture.
