The Lufthansa Group has announced that the pilots’ union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) will hold a strike on March 12 and 13.
Strikes will take place at Lufthansa German Airlines and Lufthansa Cargo on both days, and at Lufthansa CityLine on March 12. Passengers affected by cancellations and other disruptions will be notified by email around noon on March 11.
Lufthansa City Airlines will continue operations and operate additional flights where possible.
For flights booked by March 10 and scheduled to be taken during the strike period, changes and refunds will be accepted free of charge. Domestic flights within Germany can be changed free of charge to Deutsche Bahn train tickets.
