Marriott International has increased the maximum top-up amount for Marriott Bonvoy free night awards to 25,000 points.
The free night award can be used for stays in standard rooms. It includes the room rate and applicable taxes, and some hotels may charge an additional resort fee.
In Japan, holders of the “Marriott Bonvoy American Express Premium Card” can earn a free night award worth up to 75,000 points depending on their annual spending, while the “Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card” offers a free night award worth up to 50,000 points. Until now, members were allowed to top up these certificates by up to 15,000 points.
