Air Astana will launch its Almaty–Shanghai/Pudong route on March 30.
The airline will operate three round-trip flights per week, with departures from Almaty on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and departures from Shanghai/Pudong on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The route will be operated with Airbus A321neo aircraft. The flight time is 6 hours 15 minutes from Almaty and 7 hours 35 minutes from Shanghai/Pudong.
Air Astana currently serves four cities in China from Kazakhstan: Beijing, Guangzhou, Sanya, and Urumqi.
