Sendai Terminal Building will open “Hotel Metropolitan Base Sendai” on April 23.
The building has 9 floors above ground, with an all-day dining restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second through ninth floors. There are 56 guest rooms in total, in seven types including double, twin, fourth-bed, and universal rooms. The Moderate Twin Plus can accommodate up to three guests when using a sofa bed. All rooms feature a separated layout for bathroom, toilet, and washbasin. The Base Double and Base Twin rooms are equipped only with a shower booth and do not have a bathtub. In-room facilities include a mini kitchen, microwave, refrigerator-freezer, tableware, and Silky Pocket mattresses made by Japan Bed.
Inside the hotel, the all-day dining restaurant “AD-Base” is located on the first floor. Guests can also use the nearby “Jexer Light Gym & Spa 24 Sendai” free of charge.
Meals are served throughout the day, with breakfast from 6:30 a.m., lunch from 11:00 a.m., café time from 2:00 p.m., dinner from 5:00 p.m., and bar time from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. the following day. The menu includes toast, daily lunch specials, hamburg steak, pasta, parfaits, and more. For takeout, the restaurant offers original blend coffee, baked sweets, sandwiches, hot dogs, and snack sets that guests can enjoy in their rooms.
