Turkish Airlines will increase flights on the Tokyo/Narita–Istanbul route from February 2, 2027.
Currently, the airline operates one round-trip flight per day. From March 30, it will add operations on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Furthermore, from the same date, it will add operations on Tuesdays and Fridays, for a total of 12 round trips per week. The route will be operated with Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
As a result, including the one daily round trip each on the Tokyo/Haneda–Istanbul and Osaka/Kansai–Istanbul routes, the carrier will operate 26 round trips per week between Japan and Istanbul.
