Hilton Tokyo Odaiba will offer its “Strawberry Afternoon Tea” from March 1 through May 17.
The nine kinds of sweets include a Paris-Brest made with choux pastry layered with pistachio and chocolate cream, strawberry daifuku (rice cake filled with strawberries), a strawberry tasting plate that combines fresh strawberries with cream and jelly, a dessert of mascarpone and cotton candy, strawberry shortcake, strawberry yogurt, fruit gratin, strawberry and chocolate mousse, and cheese and strawberry mousse. The three savory items are a burger combining pork and balsamic vinegar, doria (baked rice casserole) with hidden meatballs, and cheese fries served with strawberry compote. From the wagon service, guests can enjoy two types of scones—plain and strawberry—as well as four types of sandwiches, such as a sandwich of cocoa baguette filled with turkey pastrami and vegetables, and a sandwich made with raspberry bread paired with strawberry butter, all of which can be ordered as much as desired.
The venue is Grillogy Bar & Grill on the 2nd floor. Service hours are from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays (120-minute seating) and from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (90-minute seating). The price is 7,800 yen, including tax and service charge.
