
Lufthansa Group Suspends Flights to Middle East Cities Including Dubai and Tel Aviv
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will serve 164 destinations in its summer schedule.
The breakdown is 96 cities within Europe and 68 intercontinental cities. Three new destinations will be launched this summer: Jersey, Santiago de Compostela, and Oviedo, all of which will be entirely new routes.
Total seat capacity will increase by approximately 5 percent compared to last year. Of this, European routes will see an increase of about 6 percent, while intercontinental routes will increase by about 4 percent.
Flight frequencies on European routes will also be increased. Flights to Cagliari will operate daily throughout the summer season, and frequencies to Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Ljubljana, and Cork will also be increased. On intercontinental routes, services to Cape Town will be increased, and flights to Portland will operate daily during the summer schedule period. For the first time, flights to San Diego, Miami, and Hyderabad will operate throughout the entire summer schedule period. San José will also be added as a summer destination for the first time.
