Setouchi Journey will open “Setouchi Cycle Stays Hiroshima Ujina” on April 1 in Hiroshima, Japan.
The property is located within the multi-purpose complex “Urban Cycle Parks Hiroshima.” It will offer a total of 123 guest rooms, including twin rooms, and bicycles can be brought into the guest rooms. Inside the facility, in addition to a bike shop operated by the professional cycle road race team “VICTOIRE Hiroshima,” there is a large public bath called “Nagi” equipped with a sauna and cold bath. The sauna features an automatic löyly system, and the showerheads and hair dryers are made by ReFa. Day-use is also available.
At the café restaurant, a lunch buffet with a theme of strawberries and sakura (cherry blossoms) will be held on weekends and holidays only, from March 14 to April 26. In addition to roast beef, pasta, and freshly baked bread, the buffet will serve limited-time sweets such as sakura mochi and spring-colored desserts. The buffet is offered in 90-minute slots from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The price is 1,980 yen for adults and 990 yen for preschool children (tax included). Reservations for stays from April through August are already open, and guests who book exclusively through the official website will receive one complimentary drink in the facility.
Access: Approximately 20 minutes by car from JR Hiroshima Station, or about a 5-minute walk from Ujina 5-chome tram stop on Hiroshima Electric Railway Line 5.
