Yukoyuko Resumes Sales of ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ in Niigata Prefecture from June 6 at 2 PM
Japan Travel Bureau (JTB) has significantly expanded its emergency support services for overseas travel. It launched the “JTB 24-Hour Emergency Support Dial” on April 1.
The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in Japanese, for customers who purchase overseas travel arrangements such as international air tickets, hotels, local tours, land cruises, and rail passes. It supports unexpected situations during overseas travel, including emergencies such as loss or theft of passports and valuables, accidents, and illness. In addition to regular phone calls, it also supports a browser phone service that uses data communication.
By responding to the diversifying needs of individual overseas travelers and providing travelers using arranged travel services with the same level of reassurance as package tours, JTB aims to support safer and more comfortable trips. New guidance for the “JTB Overseas Assistance Service” was discontinued as of March 25.
