Toyoko Inn to Sell ‘Local GENKI Badges’ from April 1
The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama will offer a “Hawaiian Spring Afternoon Tea” from April 1 through May 31.
The lineup features sweets and savories in colors that evoke tropical fruits and flowers, such as Mandarin blue jelly, Hawaiian doughnuts, canelés, verbena macarons, pineapple and coconut tarts, vanilla and pineapple mousse, consommé jelly with white asparagus velouté, petite shrimp tartelettes, and chicken galantine. Drinks are offered free-flow from a selection of about 30 varieties, including four original herbal teas created in collaboration with the craft herbal tea brand “TYNK,” based on Kampo (traditional Japanese and Chinese herbal medicine) ingredients such as Angelica keiskei from Hyuga, Korean ginseng, chrysanthemum, and ginger.
The venue is THE KAHALA Lounge on the 14th floor. Seating times are in three-hour slots starting at noon, 12:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. The offer is limited in quantity and requires advance reservation. The price is 10,120 yen, tax and service charge included.
