APA Hotel Kyoto Gion EXCELLENT reopened after renovation on March 23.
The interior design of the guest rooms and common-area corridors has been completely renewed. Guest room facilities have been updated to the latest specifications of APA’s New Urban Style Hotels, and new room types have been introduced for long-stay guests, including king bedrooms with mini-kitchens, connecting rooms that link adjacent king bedrooms and can accommodate up to four people, and cozy rooms furnished with sofas.
To meet the needs of guests staying multiple nights, a coin-operated laundry has been newly installed. Following the transition to a fully non-smoking hotel, a smoking booth has been set up on the second floor, and the exterior walls, previously based on white, have been refreshed to a gray-based design. At the front desk, a 1-Second Check-In machine linked with the APA app has been installed, along with an express check-out post that completes check-out simply by dropping in the room key card.
