Seven x Seven Itoshima will reopen after renovation on April 1.
The dining lounge is supervised by the owner-chef of “klootch,” a bar that serves creative cuisine highlighting local ingredients from Itoshima, and offers everything from à la carte dishes to course menus. The course menu (6,600 yen) features four tapas plates, such as a spicy omelet made with beef tail seasoned with spices and Itoshima potatoes, marinated red sea bream that brings out the blessings of the sea, a local seafood bouillabaisse, taro potato salad to savor the vegetables, and ajillo of gizzards and mushrooms. The drink menu includes cocktails and mocktails supervised by a bartender who runs “The Certain Bar” in Kitakyushu, as well as a selection of Japanese sake chosen by the owner of the local liquor shop “Kawakubo Saketen.”
For plans that include breakfast, guests can enjoy a breakfast that combines either a bread selection in partnership with a local bakery or a grilled salmon set meal with a salad bar. A Finland-style sauna and pool area exclusively for staying guests has also been newly installed, and daybeds have been prepared on the terrace.
