
Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview Opens on the Canadian Side of Niagara Falls
Okinawa Prince Hotel Ocean View Ginowan will hold its special dining event “Shoku no Ichari-ba -Seasonal Wind-” from April 16 to July 15.
The lineup will feature creative Okinawan dishes such as “Chikinaa Champuru Gapao Style,” taco rice sushi rolls, squid ink and seafood takikomi rice, and swordfish stewed in tomato miso with a chili con carne twist. Desserts will include freshly piped purple sweet potato Mont Blanc, taimo (taro) cheesecake, brown sugar jimami (peanut) ice cream, and chinsuko (traditional Okinawan cookies). For dinner, they will serve lightly smoked Norwegian salmon marinated in Okinawa-produced brown sugar. There will also be an alcoholic cocktail with dragon fruit and hibiscus aroma (1,330 yen), and a non-alcoholic cocktail (1,280 yen) that combines pineapple and guava with vinegar and is topped with Blue Seal ice cream. On Saturday evenings during dinner time, an island-style shima-uta sanshin performer will offer live performances while walking through the hotel.
The venue is Jinon on the first floor. Serving hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for lunch, and from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for dinner. Prices start from 3,900 yen for adults, 1,900 yen for elementary school students, and 800 yen for children aged 3 through preschoolers. Tax and service charge are included.
