ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS to Open CROSS Suites Tokyo Asakusa on July 3
Hotel Granvia Kyoto will hold a “Dinner Buffet” featuring spring and Kyoto ingredients from April 1 to June 30.
The monthly changing menu will feature Kyoto-style pot-au-feu with Tanba local chicken and poached white fish with morel mushrooms and sautéed new onions in April; roasted lamb with Saikyo miso and marinated firefly squid confit in May; and in June, roasted duck with gratin of new potatoes and oven-baked salmon topped with herb breadcrumbs. There will also be a roast beef station and a sushi corner where chefs prepare sushi right in front of guests. At the sweets corner, guests can enjoy items such as Paris-Brest made with ring-shaped choux pastry filled with custard cream and fresh cream using Marukyu Koyamaen matcha, topped with Tanba grape kuromame (black soybeans). In addition to the dishes on the buffet line, there will be a plan that includes one plate selected from four options, such as grilled abalone, grilled Japanese Black wagyu beef, and lobster prepared bouillabaisse-style.
The venue is the café restaurant “Le Temps” on the 2nd floor. The buffet is available for 90 minutes between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., with business hours changing from May 7. Prices start from 7,900 yen for adults, 3,900 yen for elementary school students, and 1,900 yen for children aged 3 and above but younger than elementary school age. All prices include tax and service charge.
