Jetstar Launches Operations with Refurbished Boeing 787-8
Etihad Airways has announced that it will introduce the Airbus A380 aircraft on its Abu Dhabi–Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi route.
From October 25, one round-trip flight per day will be operated with the A380. The route itself operates five round-trip flights per day. Capacity will be increased to meet demand during the winter travel season.
The cabin configuration consists of 3 The Residence suites, 9 First Apartments, 70 Business Studios, and 405 Economy Smart Seats. In addition, the economy cabin includes 80 Economy Space Seats, which offer extra legroom with a seat pitch of up to 36 inches. The Residence is offered as an optional product and can be used by paying an additional fee after purchasing a first class ticket. A dedicated inflight lounge, The Lobby, is also provided exclusively for first and business class passengers.
With this change, Etihad’s Airbus A380 aircraft will operate to a total of six cities: London, Paris, Toronto, Singapore, and Tokyo/Narita, in addition to Bangkok.
