Kinki Nippon Tourist has established a new organization in April called the “Global Education Center,” which specializes in comprehensive support for overseas educational trips, study abroad, and training programs from Japan.
This organization provides integrated support for overseas school excursions, short-term training programs, medium- to long-term study abroad, and admission to universities overseas, comprehensively backing educational initiatives aimed at developing globally minded human resources in Japan.
While the importance of fostering global human resources in Japanese educational settings is increasing, schools face major practical challenges such as handling individual consultations on overseas study and admission, collecting local information, and managing application and travel procedures. The new center will build and support a consistent support system that is aligned with each school’s educational policy.
Support for individual students within each school who wish to study abroad will be developed as a study-abroad infrastructure service called “ACOSTA SCHOOLS,” with the goal of introducing it to 100 high schools in Japan in the first year.
