All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Boeing have signed a contract to refurbish the cabin interiors of Boeing 787 aircraft. The announcement was made at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) held in Hamburg, Germany.
The agreement covers a total of 37 aircraft: 21 Boeing 787-8s and 16 Boeing 787-9s operated on domestic and international routes by ANA in Japan. Boeing will provide parts kits and technical support for modifications associated with the introduction of new seats and for the installation of cabin equipment.
At the Singapore Airshow, ANA and Boeing had already renewed their Airplane Health Management (AHM) contract and expanded its coverage beyond the Boeing 787 to include Boeing 777 and Boeing 737 aircraft.
