Japan Transport Safety Board Finds JAL A350 Megaphone Coverage Inadequate in Haneda Collision
Japan Airlines (JAL) has raised the international fuel surcharge on itineraries departing from the Philippines for tickets issued on or after April 16.
For itineraries departing from the Philippines, the fuel surcharge for tickets issued between April 16 and 30 will be set at 48 US dollars. It was 22 US dollars for tickets issued up to April 15. The surcharge amount for tickets issued in May has not yet been decided.
When the country of origin of travel is a country other than Japan, JAL and Japan Transocean Air (JTA) apply fuel surcharges that differ from those on itineraries departing from Japan. It is extremely rare for the surcharge amount to be revised partway through a month.
