VIA INN Hotels has completed the conversion of all guest rooms to non-smoking.
In response to the amendment of Japan’s Health Promotion Act, the company has been gradually renovating guest rooms to make them non-smoking since 2024. The work was completed on March 6 at VIA INN Abeno Tennoji, marking the end of the entire project. Guest rooms that have completed the non-smoking conversion have been gradually released for sale since March 27.
Going forward, smoking will only be permitted in designated smoking areas within the hotels.
