Major Flight Disruptions in Japan After Air Traffic Control System Failure
Japanese airline Solaseed Air and Japanese railway operator Hokuso Railway are holding the “Solaseed Air & Hokuso-railway wings Campaign” from April 1 through May 31.
Aiming to increase recognition and promote usage of both companies, they are giving away original neck straps featuring illustrations of Solaseed Air aircraft and Hokuso Railway trains, on a first-come, first-served basis to people who use both services.
During the campaign period, passengers who board a Solaseed Air operated flight can participate by presenting the screen of their already-used boarding pass together with a valid Hokuso Line ticket for the same day at the ticket gate window of any Hokuso Railway station. Distribution is limited to the first 300 people. Codeshare flights operated by All Nippon Airways (ANA) under an ANA flight number are not eligible. In addition, the straps will not be distributed at Keisei Takasago Station.
They will also sell a travel tag called the “Solaseed Air & Hokuso-railway tag.” This item is limited to 300 pieces and will first be sold in advance at the “Hokuso Spring Festival 2026” in Japan, followed by general sales. If all items are sold out during the advance sale, there will be no general sales.
