Cebu Pacific to Cancel 166 Japan–Philippines Flights Between August and September
Asahiyama Zoo in Japan has postponed the start date of its summer season to May 1.
According to media reports, this is due to a police investigation being conducted inside the zoo since April 23, after a zookeeper was questioned by police on suspicion of abandoning his wife’s body in an incinerator. The zoo states that it will require some time to prepare for reopening.
The zoo also notes that, due to cooperation with the investigation and related circumstances, if it becomes impossible or is feared to become impossible to operate the grounds safely and smoothly during the opening period, the zoo may close without prior notice.
