
UK Government to Exempt U/L Slot Rules at Some Airports
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of its Tokyo/Haneda–Sapporo/New Chitose route, Skymark held a celebratory ceremony at New Chitose Airport on April 27.
The ceremony was attended by Tetsuo Hori, Executive Officer in charge of the Airport Headquarters; Shuichi Nakamura, Chitose Airport Branch Manager; Masao Yamazaki, President and Representative Director of Hokkaido Airports Co., Ltd.; Takuya Muramatsu, Vice President of Japan Aviation Academy Hokkaido Campus; Tsuyoshi Tanaka, Airport Director of the New Chitose Airport Office of the Tokyo Civil Aviation Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism; and Ryuichi Yokota, Mayor of Chitose City.
On the same day, passengers on flight SKY712 from Sapporo/New Chitose, and flights SKY711/713/717 from Tokyo/Haneda received lunch bags, stickers, and “Sukaimo,” a collaborative product commemorating the 100th anniversary of Chitose City Airport’s opening.
