Air France will increase the number of flights on its Tokyo/Haneda – Paris/Charles de Gaulle route.
The airline will operate an additional total of 14 round trips (28 flights): 12 flights in May, 8 flights in September, and 8 flights in October. On the days these flights operate, in addition to the existing double-daily schedule with morning and night departures, a midday flight will be added. As a result, the midday flight will operate 3 to 5 round trips per week.
The aircraft used will be the Airbus A350-900. The flight time will be 13 hours 15 minutes from Paris and 14 hours 45 minutes from Tokyo/Haneda.
Originally, the airline had planned to operate 21 round trips per week between Japan and France, with 17 round trips per week on the Tokyo/Haneda – Paris/Charles de Gaulle route and 4 round trips per week on the Osaka/Kansai – Paris/Charles de Gaulle route. The increase responds to growing travel demand between Japan and Europe.
