Air Astana will launch the Astana–Guangzhou route on June 2.
The airline will operate two round trips per week, with departures from Astana on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from Guangzhou on Wednesdays and Fridays. The route will be operated with Airbus A321LR aircraft. The flight time is 6 hours 45 minutes from Astana and 7 hours 25 minutes from Guangzhou.
This will be the second route to Guangzhou from Kazakhstan, following the Almaty–Guangzhou route that was launched in March 2025.
Air Astana is strengthening its services to China, having launched the Almaty–Shanghai/Pudong route in March. The airline aims to enhance business, tourism, and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and China, as well as expand connecting travel opportunities via Astana.
