Hilton to Open Gajoen Tokyo LXR Hotels & Resorts in 2027
Hotel Management International has opened the Hamamatsu Marriott Hotel on May 1 in Hamamatsu, Japan.
The property is the former Grand Hotel Hamamatsu. It offers a total of 236 guest rooms including suites, and incorporates materials and patterns in its interiors inspired by the textile culture of Hamamatsu, a Japanese city known for its manufacturing and music industries. The color scheme evokes the blue of Lake Hamana and the sandy beaches of the Enshū coast, and the design concept, themed on the textile industry and musical culture, is titled “The Aesthetics of Weaving.”
The hotel features a lounge & patisserie, executive lounge, banquet halls, meeting rooms, fitness facilities, a swimming pool, and a parking lot accommodating approximately 300 vehicles. The swimming pool will remain temporarily closed.
Dining facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, the Japanese restaurant “Kappo Inanba,” which serves Japanese cuisine, shabu-shabu, and teppanyaki, and the traditional Japanese restaurant “Chotokan.”
