H.I.S. Co., Ltd. (HIS), a major Japanese travel agency, will hold its “SUPER SUMMER SALE! 2026” from May 8 through June 29.
This sale targets demand for travel during Silver Week, which will be a five-day holiday in Japan for the first time in 11 years, as well as summer vacation trips. Amid ongoing sharp increases in fuel surcharges due to high crude oil prices, HIS will offer a wide range of products, from reasonably priced options using low-cost carriers (LCCs) to high value-added packages.
Examples of overseas travel products include a 3-day trip to Seoul from/to Tokyo Narita starting at 19,800 yen (fuel surcharge included), a 4-day trip to Cebu Island from/to Tokyo Narita starting at 39,800 yen (also including fuel surcharge), and a 3-day trip to Taipei from/to Osaka Kansai starting at 24,800 yen (no fuel surcharge). Examples of domestic travel products include a 2-day trip to Sapporo from/to Tokyo Narita starting at 12,800 yen, a 2-day trip to Fukuoka from/to Tokyo Narita starting at 14,800 yen, and a 3-day trip to Okinawa from/to Osaka Kansai starting at 17,800 yen. All prices are per adult.
As special promotions, HIS will offer an unlimited data plan for overseas Wi-Fi rentals at 50% off (for usage starting through November 30), and distribute “Ultra Coupons” worth a total of 100 million yen for domestic travel: 20% off dynamic packages, 10% off hotels and ryokan (traditional Japanese inns), and 5% off highway buses and other services. The offers will end once the maximum coupon amount has been reached.
The sale launch times are 9:00 a.m. for Asia-bound tours departing from the Kanto region and all domestic travel products, 10:00 a.m. for all other products departing from the Kanto region, and 1:00 p.m. for all remaining products. Store counter sales will begin in accordance with each store’s business hours.
