Hilton opened the Canopy by Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort on April 1.
The building has 12 floors above ground. The property offers 306 guest rooms in 11 categories, including 35-square-meter guest rooms, deluxe rooms with private balconies, and 102-square-meter suites. The suites comprise 20 rooms in 5 types, all designed with separate living and bedroom areas and equipped with private balconies.
Facilities within the resort include the all-day dining restaurant “The Mersenne’s Beach House,” the grill restaurant “CHIIKII,” the rooftop bar “Sun Bear Day Club,” a picnic space, an infinity pool, a spa, a kids’ club, and a 24-hour fitness center. Dining focuses on menus featuring ingredients from Miyakojima and Okinawa, Japan.
On the adjacent site, Mitsubishi Estate and Kajima Corporation opened the commercial complex “Yard miyakojima” on the same day, offering multiple shops and restaurants, as well as a rooftop sunset terrace.
To commemorate the opening, a campaign will be offered for Hilton Honors members from April 1 to June 30, granting 1,000 Honors Points per night for stays of three nights or more.
Access: approximately 15 minutes by car from Miyako Airport and about 25 minutes by car from Shimojishima Airport.
