Japanese low-cost carrier Skymark Airlines has announced that on April 29, a light aircraft carrying one of its trainee pilots crashed at Parafield Airport in Australia.
According to local media reports, the light aircraft crashed into an airport hangar shortly after takeoff. Two people on board, the trainee pilot and an instructor, were killed, and 11 people on the ground were injured.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by local authorities. Skymark stated, “We take this incident very seriously and intend to fully cooperate with the investigation.”
