
Hyatt Hotels: Member Discount Sale at Asia-Pacific Hotels Through June 1
Tokyo Marriott Hotel will offer the “MELONyque Afternoon Tea” from May 1 to June 30.
The afternoon tea features two kinds of muskmelons, green-fleshed and red-fleshed, each with a sugar content of at least 14 degrees right up to the rind, shipped directly from a dedicated field at Nishijima Horticultural Park in Kochi Prefecture, Japan. The sweets selection includes eight items in total: a layered parfait stacked with generously cut pieces of both types of muskmelon; a muskmelon tart combining muskmelon-flavored custard cream with two kinds of melon; a shortcake made with green-fleshed muskmelon; bonbon chocolat filled with green-fleshed melon ganache and rose confiture; a cream puff with red-fleshed muskmelon; and scone-style melon bread with dried melon, among others. The savory items include four kinds such as lobster bisque and a herb-accented stick sandwich with smoked salmon and herb cream cheese. For drinks, guests can freely enjoy eight varieties of TWG Tea brand teas and five kinds of coffee.
The venue is the 1st-floor restaurant “Lounge & Dining G.” Seating times start from 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The price is 7,500 yen per person, tax and service charge included. Reservations are accepted for parties of two or more and must be made at least two days in advance.
