Lufthansa Launches New Long-Haul Inflight Service Concept “FOX”
Eurowings has expanded the days on which cabin crew are allowed to wear sneakers, making them permissible every day.
Previously, under the “Sneaker Friday” concept, cabin crew were allowed to wear white sneakers only on Fridays. In response to employees’ requests, the airline is expanding this concept.
The airline says this not only directly responds to requests to improve comfort in employees’ daily work, but also gives cabin crew uniforms a fresh and modern look. According to Eurowings, passengers have also consistently reacted positively.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Max Kownatzki commented, “A modern appearance underlines our identity as Europe’s value airline.”
