United Airlines and JetBlue Airways have begun offering reciprocal benefits in their frequent flyer programs.
For elite members of MileagePlus and TrueBlue, the two airlines will offer mutual benefits. These include priority boarding, free advance seat selection for EvenMore seats and Economy Plus seats, priority check-in and security screening, one free checked bag, priority baggage handling, and same-day standby.
The two airlines had already allowed members to earn and redeem miles on each other’s flights. Going forward, it will also be possible to use both airlines’ flights on a single ticket.
